Say hello

To miss Lydia Gail Hendrix. She decided she was going to come on the very early morning hour of 2:58 am Wednesday, Sept 5th, 2007. She weighed in at 7lbs 8.6 ounces and 18 inches long. She came very quickly, so quickly that my mother and husband did not get to witness the birth.. This made Chris very angry and hurt. They took forever to get my epidural going and in the end it did not take effect so I had my third and probably last child totally naturally. I kept telling them that she was coming and they either did not believe me or more focused on my epidural working. After pushing for a few times and telling them so Lydia decided to speedily slip into our world. She came out without help from the doctor, which I am not sure if was in the room or not but I remember seeing two nurses on either side of me and telling them she is coming and then they were in total surprise when she came rushing out to meet everyone. I am so glad she is ok and seems to be healthy. I would say it has to be the weirdest birth experience so far but once again Lydia is fine and so I am happy. The girls are totally crazy about her and just love to look at her and watch her sleep. Now like we expected we have three red headed girls and poor chris has to live with four of us(EEK). Ha we are not so bad. There will be more pics to come. I am still fighting exhaustion and trying to get ajusted to having a newborn again.
