Moving back in
Decided once again to take the house back off the market. It is just not a good time. Now having to go back through everything and see what I want to bring back in and maybe get rid of. I hate this part of it. I also had a little helper. She decided she was going to help clean up. So funny the broom is so much biggerthan her.

Spring play and shopping
After Emma and I got home, her and Chloe went outside to ride their bikes. Chloe decided she would rather ride Lydia's trike than her own bike. It was nice to see them out in the sunshine, and getting some excersise.

This morning Emma and I ran out to West Town to do some spring shopping for her. I had looked at a few department stores and everything in her size did not look like what a seven year old would wear. Everything was too old looking. So off to Gap kids, Gymboree, and Childrens Place we go. Gap had some very cute stuff and ended up getting her a couple of tops there and a few other things from the Childrens Place. These stores along with Gymboree and Crazy Eights is the only place i can find age appropriate in her size. It is a hassle to go out to West Town sometimes but so worth it.

Spring is in the air part 2
Spring is in the air!
I thought I would try this again. I am not going to say I will write everyday but i will try and keep more of a focus on it. It has been such a lovely day and so warm. Cannot wait to bring out some of the warmer weather clothes! It has been a pretty low key day. Lydia did some painting, and i have to say it turned out quite lovely.

What A Life
Wouldn't it be lovely to to do this all day? After the day I have had, it would be heaven. This is Isabelle and she was a shelter dog we ended up saving. Sometimes I wish we had not, but in the end we love her and would not get rid of her for the world.
The girls were in weird moods today and drove me absolutely insane. It rained all day which made it even worse, and you can imagine the relief I had when Chris got home. After dinner Iwent out to the garage to work on my latest project. Last weekend at a yard sale I picked up an antique buffet for $20.00, it was a deal and I was so excited since I have been wanting one for ages. I didn't care that it was kind of beat up because I was going to refinish it anyway. After I get all the sanding done on it then I will take a picture of the before look. I had forgotten to do it in the beginning before sanding. I have gotten half of the sanding done and hopefully here in the next day or so i can finish that up so I can get onto the fun part of refinishing it. I get so excited and want to have it done right then and that is not happening, I keep telling myself I need to take my time and get it right so I do not have to go back later to fix something.

A new direction
I sit here in my home everyday thinking how can I get my ideas and things I want to do out there.
The thing is I know how, it is just actually doing it. I have come to accept that I am a chicken and my fears are holding me back. I am going to try and break through this wall so that I can share my thoughts on creativity, thriftiness, and every day life. My dream is to one day soon start up Little Whimsies, a shop of the things I make and refurbish. In redirecting this blog maybe I can build up the courage to do so with everyones thoughts and suggestions. I would like to look back a year from now and hope I have made some headway to my dream and rid myself of my fears.
I will start out by saying that everyday I find something I can makeover, create, or buy to make my home a more cozy place to be for me and my family. I am also a crafter and love making things people would enjoy.
Hopefully in time I will get better at this blogging thing because I have been out of practice for a while, but I am going to use this as my outlet to keep up what I love doing.

Lydia is ONE!

Who would have thought it would be several months since I last posted. Most of you will not even check it due to I seem to never post anymore. It is not that I do not want to I am just busy with three very active children and by the time I get them into bed I just want to veg and do nothing. although I have been working on some of my hobbies and trying to get things ready to start selling. Lydia had her first birthday this past weekend. She turned one on the 5th and it is so sad she is growing so fast. She is almost walking and does walk along things she can lean against. She got many nice things and Emma and Chloe are having a ball playing with all her new stuff. They play with it so much Lydia cannot get in any play time with her own toys. Anyway I am going to post some pics and will try to do better with the blogging. I get grumbled at a lot for not keeping up LOL!

Sitting up!
So much has happend with miss Lydia these past couple of weeks.... For one she started saying mama, she got her first tooth, and now she is sitting up all on her own. She is so proud of herself and just sits there and squeals. She has become such the little clown and will do anything to get our attention. Oh dear they grow so fast.

Emma birthday March 20th 2008 #4
unfortunately these are the only pics i could post because a lot of Emma's birthday pics did not come out very good at all. I was very disapointed but hey what can you do. I made Emma her rainbow pony cake she has been asking for and seemed to be very happy with it. i cannot believe she is four already. She is growing up so fast. Sorry i have not posted very much. I have been in a computer slump and finding other things to do. I have some pics of Emma dressed up in her ballet gear and will post them soon.

Can you say exhaustion! Today was like lets have all children cry and whine all day long. Of course all three do not feel well and are very tired babies themselves. So lets just say I have had one very long day. This top pic is one Chris took of Emma sleeping and I am not exactly sure when he took it but it was recently. I just thought it was so peaceful looking.

6 Months
Today my baby girl turned six months old. I cannot believe how fast things go. She has not had her 6 month appt yet but she is such a happy baby and into everything she can get her hands on. She is also very attached to mommy right now and cannot stand it when I am not around. She loves to stand with help of course and eating more and more solids every day. She had her first cracker the other day and i took pics but they turned out very blurry. She lights up when the girls are around and enjoys it when they talk to her or sing to her. It is hard to imagine not having a tiny baby to hold anymore but we are pretty sure Lydia is our last baby. Unless we win the lottery or something no more babies. I will just have to snuggle up to Hornback baby number three when it comes!

A picture day
I got my camera and took some pics of the girls today. I feel like I have slacked off so bad and the weather has been so dreary and cold that just not been able to get good pics of the girls. The girls and I made paper easter eggs today and decorated them. I cut out giant paper eggs and got the crayons out and went to town. The girls loved it and Emma said she wanted to hang hers on the fireplace so the easter bunny could see it. I decided to hang all of them and make a garland out of it. Emma did two of them and Chloe did two of them and I did one so we had a good amount. Of course I was not thinking at the time and did not take a picture of it so will do that tomorrow and post to blog.

Finally getting better

Gosh I had not realized how long it has been since i last posted but it has been awhile i see. My whole little family has been sick for weeks it seems and we cannot get rid of that run down feeling and get some energy. We have all had some kind of something weather it was the flu or some kind of sinus thing. No matter it has been horrible and I am still trying to feel better. I have to admit I do feel better than I have and my girls are almost completely better and i am glad about that. Chris still seems run down and exhausted like me and we have not felt up to doing a whole lot lately. I really hate we missed family time with relatives who all seemed to come in at the same time and we did not get to spend any time with them due to all of us being so sick. So guys we love you and miss you! The next time you come in we will be seeing you. I have to be honest I have not even felt like taking pictures and have just a couple that I can post that I have took in the last couple of weeks. Yes I have felt so bad that my picture taking abilities have been on hold. My house seems to always be a mess and driving me crazy so trying to get everything back on track. Emma has a birthday coming up and trying to come up with some ideas for her party and cake. She keeps saying she wants a rainbow pony cake so the girl will get a rainbow pony cake and hopefully i can make it myself. This is what she is telling us she wants for her birthday.... A scoobyDoo movie(ever since we got Noah one for his birthday), A Dora couch, A rock, A turtle, and A new rockinghorse because she says hers is too old. Where she comes up with this I have no idea. The only reason she said she wanted a rock was because her daddy said if she did not behave and play with the toys she has all she would be getting was a rock. So instead of saying no daddy i do not want a rock she happily agrees a rock would be a great gift.

Say cheese
I was bored the other day and decided to take some diaper pics of Lydia. I do not really like them in black and white because there is not much contrast but i was experimenting. Lydia did pretty well. She puts up with me posing her and moving her so much. One of these days she will probably look at me and say no more pictures mom! She is now eating a little oatmeal during the day. I tried rice and she did not do very well with it, so like my other two I just went with the fiber. She seems to like it and she looks like a little bird everytime I am coming at her with the spoon.
