The park the park

Going up to the little park above mamaw was a hit on Sunday. Emma loves this park because it has several slides and different things to do. We just decided to walk up to it and it was a pretty nice walk. Got some cute pics of the girls and mamaw. While down at mamaws Emma had a peach and must have been yummy good because she got it all over her. Friday night the girls spent the night with their mammy and pop pop. I got to sleep in on saturday (Yay)! That was wonderful! picked them up at noon andf came home to being lazy and in the afternoon Emma and I left and had a girls day out together. That may not have been a good idea because Emma was awefully cranky all day due to getting up at like 4:30 am and not having a good nap all day. So in the future I will no not to take cranky, sleepy child out in public. It was not too bad but all in all she probably should have stayed home. As for the weekend it was pretty uneventful! I cannot wait till Chris is finished with this project. In the future he is not allowed to take on a project that takes away from his family!

Crazy fun

These are pics from last night. We were all in the floor just being silly and having fun. The girls loved having Chris and I both down playing in the floor with them. Today I went over to Babies R Us to check out the car seats they have because it is coming soon to get Chloe a big girl car seat. They are so expensive and Chris and I came up with a better idea. Take Emma's older carseat from Chris's car and use it for Chloe and get another less expensive booster seat for Chris's car. I would rather spend 60.00 then 200.00. This afternoon about 4:30 I took the girls to their Mammy and Pop pops. They were going to spend the night and so Chris and I had a quick dinner at Ruby Tuesdays then went and saw Nacho Libre. I have to say if you like stupid slapstick movies then that is the one for you. We saw it because the Pirates of the Carribean was sold out. I hope everyone has a great weekend !

My little miss cupcakes

Here are my little miss cupcakes! We went over to mom's to spend part of the day with her and cought a few picks of the girls before they got totally filthy. We did not do too much actually on the 4th, but had a cook out the day before at mamaw's house along with Amie, John, Olivia, David, and mamaw. We had a lot of fun! Mr Don even came over for a little bit. Emma was going to spend the night with mamaw and the others but ended wanting to come home at 11pm that night. So Amie carted her home. What a sweety she is. Today the girls went with thier Mammy and Pop pop. They took them to story time at the library and took them to lunch. They had a great time and of course Emma did not want to leave as usual. I just had some relaxing time while they were gone and it was majorly needed. Well I hope everyone is having a good week.

4th of July weekend

I have to say this weekend has not been what I would liked it to be but it was ok. We spent out time at home having some pool time and just hanging out. Chris worked the whole time and the kids and I did what we could to have some fun. While Chloe was napping the other day Emma got some alone pool time and had a blast. She loves getting in the pool and playing. Last night we sliced a watermelon and got to enjoy its sweet goodness. It was the first time Chloe has had watermelon and she loved it. Emma seemed to enjoy it herself. I just let her go at it and she thought it was the best thing.Saturday night we had dinner with Amie, John and the kids. It was nice spending time with them and afterwards we went and had some icecream at our new Marble Slab Creamery. It was so good! Well I hope everyone has had a great weekend and hope everyone will have a great 4th.

Peek a boo

Over the weekend I got some pics of chloe putting this baby doll blanket over her head and having a ball doing it. once she would get it over her head she ould laugh out loud then pull it off and look to see if anyone was watching her then she would laugh again. It was totally halarious to watch her do this. On Saturday we went and spent some time at Mamaws house and mamaw and Emma got some quality pool time in together. They were both soaked head to toe and Emma being the only one in a bathing suit. It was fun to watch. Sunday was a lazy day where we did nothing at all. Chris had to work all day and the kids and I just played with toys, watched movies, and napped. Chloe started coughing yesterday and it was a fun night last night she was up almost all night being congested and coughing. So after Chris came to bed I got Chloe and took her with me out to the couch to see if she would feel better. Bless her heart while in her bed she would just cry and cough and it was pitiful so what little rest we both got was on the couch. Chris had been with her for a little while and decided he would try putting her to bed and that was when we heard her crying again and I got up with her. Hopefully tonight will be a better night.

Bath time

My poor girl just got drenched by her big sister. Chloe is such a good sport about it and did not even cry. If it had been Emma she would have been screaming and in tears. They have such a good time taking baths together. They were so funny I had to shoot some pics. Today the girls went with their Mammy and Pop Pop and spent the day with them. They came early so they could take Emma to the story time at the library. Jan said she absolutely loved it. I will have to start taking her and Chloe. They also went to the park and had a nice picnic and just had a really good day. I stayed home and did some house cleaning. I have gotten so behind in my housework and did not realize how aweful it was. I went to Target and Walmart and got some new throw pillows for the living room. The ones I already had are old and torn and have stuff all over them from Emma and us laying on them. The new ones were much needed and they are a pretty blue color which brightens up the room. I also went by Home Depot to get a couple of dome light fixtures to go in Emma's room and the Bathroom. Both are bare and since we are going to be fixing the house up to sell needed to get them. I found some pretty flowering plants too to brighten up the rooms. They make me feel happy and I love things that make me feel happy.

Our Father's Day bash

We went over to Jan and Troys for Father's day and had a very nice cook out. They had gotten Emma and Chloe an inflatable pool and toys to play in and Emma had such a blast. The water was a little cool for Chloe and so she watched untill she decided she was going to take a nap. We had gotten Troy a t-shirt that said Granpas are dads without rules and we thought it was just perfect for him. Chris got some much needed pants and shirts and lots of love from his girls. On Saturday we went over to Mamaws to celebrate her birthday which was friday and had a good time with her playing outside and spending time together. I happen to forget my camera so was not able to get any pics. Emma has come down with a cold and has been coughing terribly at night and had to get up with her the last two nights. Hopefully this is only a cold and will go away soon. poor thing she sounds so hoarse while she talks. Well I hope everyone had a good weekend !

This past weekend my sister Heather and her two babies came in to visit. It was so nice to see them and spend some time with them. Got some pretty good pics. Here is Noah and Emma playing on the slide at Mamaw's house. They loved the fact the quilt was over it so they could hide and play peek a boo. Noah had a blast doing that. Got some sweet pics of miss Rachel. They are a little dark so going to try and lighten them up some but she is totally precious and the most gorgeous eyes. They got to play in the pool and run around like crazy. I cannot wait till they get to come back next month. I hate we do not get to see that much of them. I would have a scrappin buddie and the kids would have a blast together. Emma after she warms up to everyone she loves to play with Noah. Noah is the same way and they get along so well. Well maybe one day they will be a little closer and get to visit more. The last couple of days have been a complete blur. This week is going so fast for some reason and I have not been able to get anything done. Hopefully I will be able to get some cleaning and laundry done in the next couple of days. Jan and Troy were so nice to watch the kids for me today I just did not feel good and needed to rest. Emma had a good time and did not want to leave at all. she is really getting big on these no's here lately. Nobody said life with a two year old would be easyand she is totally testing Chris and I both. Oh how exhausting!

TGIF!

Here are some cute pics of my girls. I had come in to get Chloe after her nap and this cutie is what I found. While Chloe was napping, Emma and I went outside so I could play with my camera. Emma has gotten where she just does not want to sit still and look at the camera and I can hardly ever get her to smile for me anymore. I have been reading my photography books but I feel like I am not getting anywhere and do not know much more than I knew before. I am so glad it is Friday. It is not much different for me than any other day except for going out to dinner and dropping the girls off with their Mammy and Pop Pop, but I look forward to all of that. I love that Chris is home on the weekends because I get to see him and I get help with the girls and do not have to do it all by myself. I guess in a way it is like a mini vacation. Since Chris has been working so hard to get a huge project up off the ground I have been trying to not ask him to help me so much but sometimes it is so hard. I love my babies and would not give up a single moment with them but there are times I just need me time, and I wish I did not feel guilty about it but I do. We getting ready to start fixing the things that have to be fixed so we can get the house on the market and get a bigger home. We are just tripping over each other here and i cannot stand it anymore. I do not want a mansion, not that we could afford one anyway but I do want something where I will have my space for scrapbooking and photography, and would love an extra room to make into a play room for the girls. They have so many toys that it will not all fit in their rooms. Plus I just hate the cluttered feel and need space, and windows, lots of windows. I know more for me to clean right? I am totally ok with that. There is so much I want our new house to have and will probably will not find one in our price range that will be just right but maybe, you never know. Well I hope everyone will have a good weekend! I am so looking forward to Heather coming in withthe kids. She will be here tonight and we will see her tomorrow. YAY!

Ok so for some reason this pic got posted three times and do not know why. My Emma this morning before school. She was so colorful. She looks forward to going to school on the mornings she goes and was so happy this morning. The other pics are a few days old and Emma loves wearing my shoes of any kind and so had to show that off. This is my dress I got for my birthday with some money I got. I just love it but some people would probably think no thank you. We went out and ate sushi and I wore it and had a lady actually give me a compliment on it. Never expected that. This is not a great pic but it shows the dress.
