Lydia is ONE!

Who would have thought it would be several months since I last posted. Most of you will not even check it due to I seem to never post anymore. It is not that I do not want to I am just busy with three very active children and by the time I get them into bed I just want to veg and do nothing. although I have been working on some of my hobbies and trying to get things ready to start selling. Lydia had her first birthday this past weekend. She turned one on the 5th and it is so sad she is growing so fast. She is almost walking and does walk along things she can lean against. She got many nice things and Emma and Chloe are having a ball playing with all her new stuff. They play with it so much Lydia cannot get in any play time with her own toys. Anyway I am going to post some pics and will try to do better with the blogging. I get grumbled at a lot for not keeping up LOL!

Sitting up!

So much has happend with miss Lydia these past couple of weeks.... For one she started saying mama, she got her first tooth, and now she is sitting up all on her own. She is so proud of herself and just sits there and squeals. She has become such the little clown and will do anything to get our attention. Oh dear they grow so fast.

Got these finally up

First thing they all wanted to do was dress as princesses, even Dave. We all had such a great time with Olivia and David. We were so glad to keep them for a few days. They will be moving to Arkansas and so we will not be able to see them as often. We will miss them terribly and love them so much.
Olivia is showing Lydia her book and was reading to her.

Play doh is always a good thing

Mr lion here had a great big rrooaarrr!

Dave made sure he cheered us all on

Butterflies and pink poodles

Emma birthday March 20th 2008 #4

unfortunately these are the only pics i could post because a lot of Emma's birthday pics did not come out very good at all. I was very disapointed but hey what can you do. I made Emma her rainbow pony cake she has been asking for and seemed to be very happy with it. i cannot believe she is four already. She is growing up so fast. Sorry i have not posted very much. I have been in a computer slump and finding other things to do. I have some pics of Emma dressed up in her ballet gear and will post them soon.

Can you say exhaustion! Today was like lets have all children cry and whine all day long. Of course all three do not feel well and are very tired babies themselves. So lets just say I have had one very long day. This top pic is one Chris took of Emma sleeping and I am not exactly sure when he took it but it was recently. I just thought it was so peaceful looking.
This is one of several pics I took of my little paci girl. She kept smiling at me everytime I looked at her behind her paci and it was so funny.

6 Months

Today my baby girl turned six months old. I cannot believe how fast things go. She has not had her 6 month appt yet but she is such a happy baby and into everything she can get her hands on. She is also very attached to mommy right now and cannot stand it when I am not around. She loves to stand with help of course and eating more and more solids every day. She had her first cracker the other day and i took pics but they turned out very blurry. She lights up when the girls are around and enjoys it when they talk to her or sing to her. It is hard to imagine not having a tiny baby to hold anymore but we are pretty sure Lydia is our last baby. Unless we win the lottery or something no more babies. I will just have to snuggle up to Hornback baby number three when it comes!

A picture day

I got my camera and took some pics of the girls today. I feel like I have slacked off so bad and the weather has been so dreary and cold that just not been able to get good pics of the girls. The girls and I made paper easter eggs today and decorated them. I cut out giant paper eggs and got the crayons out and went to town. The girls loved it and Emma said she wanted to hang hers on the fireplace so the easter bunny could see it. I decided to hang all of them and make a garland out of it. Emma did two of them and Chloe did two of them and I did one so we had a good amount. Of course I was not thinking at the time and did not take a picture of it so will do that tomorrow and post to blog.

Finally getting better

Gosh I had not realized how long it has been since i last posted but it has been awhile i see. My whole little family has been sick for weeks it seems and we cannot get rid of that run down feeling and get some energy. We have all had some kind of something weather it was the flu or some kind of sinus thing. No matter it has been horrible and I am still trying to feel better. I have to admit I do feel better than I have and my girls are almost completely better and i am glad about that. Chris still seems run down and exhausted like me and we have not felt up to doing a whole lot lately. I really hate we missed family time with relatives who all seemed to come in at the same time and we did not get to spend any time with them due to all of us being so sick. So guys we love you and miss you! The next time you come in we will be seeing you. I have to be honest I have not even felt like taking pictures and have just a couple that I can post that I have took in the last couple of weeks. Yes I have felt so bad that my picture taking abilities have been on hold. My house seems to always be a mess and driving me crazy so trying to get everything back on track. Emma has a birthday coming up and trying to come up with some ideas for her party and cake. She keeps saying she wants a rainbow pony cake so the girl will get a rainbow pony cake and hopefully i can make it myself. This is what she is telling us she wants for her birthday.... A scoobyDoo movie(ever since we got Noah one for his birthday), A Dora couch, A rock, A turtle, and A new rockinghorse because she says hers is too old. Where she comes up with this I have no idea. The only reason she said she wanted a rock was because her daddy said if she did not behave and play with the toys she has all she would be getting was a rock. So instead of saying no daddy i do not want a rock she happily agrees a rock would be a great gift.

Say cheese

I was bored the other day and decided to take some diaper pics of Lydia. I do not really like them in black and white because there is not much contrast but i was experimenting. Lydia did pretty well. She puts up with me posing her and moving her so much. One of these days she will probably look at me and say no more pictures mom! She is now eating a little oatmeal during the day. I tried rice and she did not do very well with it, so like my other two I just went with the fiber. She seems to like it and she looks like a little bird everytime I am coming at her with the spoon.

Look I can grab my feet

Had to get a couple of shots of Lydia. She is very into grabbing her feet and playing with anything she can get her hands on. She had her four month appt on the 22nd and they said she is perfect. I am so glad her ears had cleared up and she weighed in at 14lbs and 24 inches long. She also got some shots and was a little champ through the whole thing.

My girls decided they were going to play dress up and Emma had so much on that I almost had to cut some of it off of her because she was so tangled up in it all. Chloe on the other hand decided she wanted to wear only the leotard and the shoes. Of course she had to have her little purse to bring the whole outfit together.

Lydia rolled over!

I was not able to get all of it but my baby girl turned onto her tummy from her back yesterday and had to get a couple of pictures of her going into it. I was so proud and she was doing all for the paci. She loves her paci and would even roll over for it!

As I was laying on the couch taking pictures of Lydia turning over I had this little monkey climb on top of me and once again want her picture made but she would not smile for me.

Ahhh be still my heart. I put Lydia up on my bed while getting dressed and Chloe hopped up there with her and said hold her mommy so i said ok and when i put Lydia in her arms she said picture mommy. I called Chris to bring me my camera and this was one of the shots i got. Chloe loves her little sister.
