Tiny smiles

I caught Lydia giveing some sweet smiles today and so wanted to catch some on camera and unfortunately the first two are a little blurry. the last one came out o. She has been smiling for a couple of weeks now but not as much and everytime i talk to her she just lights up. I am loving it. I cannot believe how big she is getting and i want her to stay a tiny little thing. On to another subject... I have been thinking about Christmas and trying to come up with things to get for the girls and have a few ideas but they have a lot of toys and we have actually donated a lot of them too. If anyone has ideas for an almost four year old girl, a two year old girl, and a newborn let me know. We are not getting Lydia much since she is so little so do not need a lot of ideas for her.

Decorating

Ok so i attempted at decorating and here our some of the things I have done. The first is the front door . I missed out on getting a nice fall wreath because I waited too long. I cannot find a pretty one anywhere anymore. The second pic is of my giant spider web with my big hairy spider Chris is just crazy about. The next few pics are of Emma's and Chloe's room. I know the valance does not really go with the border in the room and we are going to either take down the border and keep the valance or I will move the valance to the play room where the same fabric is used for the window seat cusions. The art on the walls is done by me and I know they are not great but they are cheaper than buying professional paintings they will outgrow in a few years. The twinkle twinkle little star plaque is actually store bought. Then the last pic is of me and the girls at the pumpkin patch. I hardly ever get my picture taken with them so thought i would go ahead and post it on here even though I hate pics of myself.

The Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we took the girls to the pumpkin patch and they had a great time. We got to meet a school friend of Emma's and her name was Mabrey. She was so adorable, and we rode the hayride with her mom and dad and soon to be sister. I got to chatting with Mabrey's mom and we are going to try and get the girls together for a playdate. Saturday was absolutely beautiful and the weather felt just right. After we went and ate lunch we went home and relaxed and decorated our porch finally. Chris went and got some Hay, mums, and some more pumpkins. I found our old scarecrow in the garage and put out there along with it. i also hung a giant spider web with a huge furry spider on the porch and Chris just about freaked out. It was funny. I am finally there with the decorating. i am going to take some pics and post on here hopefully later today or tomorrow.

See the resemblence

I think the girls are about the same age here not for sure. I had to upload a layout i did a long time ago of Emma because I did not scan in a lot lf my film pics when she was so small. but like I said they could be twins as babies. Lydia is also going to keep her blue eyes so my little Chloe will be the only one with big brown eyes.

6 weeks old today

Lydia is 6 weeks old today and time is flying by. Oh I just want to keep her little. I have been taking pics like this from 1 week, 3 weeks and now 6 weeks and will continue on till she is probably a year old. I was looking at Emma's baby book and noticed that her and Lydia could be twins as babies. I could not believe how much they looked alike. I will try to find one to upload of Emma on here to show the similarities.

Bed making

I showed Emma how to make her bed and so now everyday that she is home from school she wants to make her bed herself. I have to say she does a pretty good job and chloe even tries to help, but i end up doing Chloe's bed. I love the fact Emma is wanting to do things by herself and hopefully will stick with them but we will see.

Lydia's nursery

Some of you wanted to see some pics of Lydia's nursery. I decided to be a little crafty and made the flower mobile, the Lydia picture, and the flower wall hanging. Oh and thanks heather for the info on the butterflies. I decided to use them on the window treatments and I just love them. I ended up getting two boxes to do what I wanted to do with them. I think out of all three girls nurseries, I love Lydia's the best. I think I do because I put more of myself into it then the other two, but I loved the other two as well.

One Month old as of Oct 5th( a little late)

My baby is already one month old. I cannot believe it. She is such a sweet little thing. On Friday the 5th she had her one month appt and her stats are.... weight, 9lbs 3oz, height, 20 1/2 inches. She still seems so little. We are still not sure what color her eyes are going to be, some days they look as though they will stay blue and other days they look different. Her hair is a darker red than my other two girls and will probably be more of an auburn red. She definately has the Myers lips and chin but she has her daddy's nose. These other pics are silly ones of Emma playing in a box and the one of Chloe is where she got in trouble for marking allover herself with marker. Do you love her face paint there? The bottom one of Lydia is where she is hating her bath.
