Photo shoot #2

I decided to do a photo shoot with the other two girls since I have not had any recent pictures of them made to give to family. They were all for it so we were going to go out into the yard but it was raining so we stayed on the porch. I thought the brick was a pretty nice backdrop. I took several pics but only posted a few. Some turned out pretty good and some not so hopefully I can come up with some to give out.

Here is my guy reading to all three to my girls. I thought this was a precious sight and had to get it on camera.

Daddy home

I kept Chloe out of school today for two reasons.... She had an appt with the dermatologist for her eczema and she has a very bad cold. So all day today she was out of sorts due to Emma not being home and not having anyone but me to play with. She also went around all day saying daddy home, daddy home. I told her we would call him and she got to talk with him for a little bit but she really missed her daddy today, or it could have been the piggy back rides he started giving her. Once again my whole family is sick. Lydia has a viral rash and has ran a fever for the last couple of days and I have another cold that was probably caught from Chloe. Chris started sneezing and feeling bad today. Emma seems to be the only one who is not sick at the moment but I am sure she will be. It is just a never ending thing. I am running on two hours of sleep due to Lydia kept waking up crying and not feeling good last night and today she has been the same way poor thing. I hate it when my kids are sick. Hopefully we will all be well by Christmas.

Three month photos

I wanted to post a few more of my little Lydia during our shoot for her three month pictures. I feel sort of bad for the fact that for Emma and Chloe I took them and had their pictures made from what i thought were professional photographers, but ended up not being very happy with some of them they had made. I thought I could do better than that so I tried and made Lydia's myself. It saves money and i can choose any picture i want. I just hope later on she will not feel cheated by it.

3 Months today

Lydia and I had a nice little photo shoot today for her three month photos. She was smiling in almost all of them and did so well. Cannot believe she is already three months. The outfit she is wearing is one that had belonged to Chloe and had Chloe's pics professionally done with the outfit but was not too impressed with the pictures. I took 30 pictures of Lydia and they all turned out pretty good so I ordered a few and hopefully will get them in a few days. I got my Christmas cards sent out today. Was totally glad about that and all my shopping is done and I am so glad and do not have to worry about it anymore. Chris and I are only doing stocking stuffers since we invested in a new washer and dryer(whirlpool Duet). Totally love them and so glad we decided to just get them after longing for them for a couple of years.

Christmas cookies

We made Christmas cookies yesterday and this was Chloe while doing them and she had so much fun cutting them out and of course playing in the flour. Emma had more fun doing the decorating rather than the cutting out.
Chloe after making Christmas cookies, she was so tired.

This pic is so fuzzy but I love it so. My little Lydia was so unhappy at the moment, poor thing.

Putting up or Christmas tree. The girls were so excited when we went and picked out our tree. Emma ended up naming the tree Sleeping beauty. I know odd but as a tradition we always name the tree for the yearand left it up to Emma this year.

Had to show a pic of my little Santa baby. I have done this with all three girls.

A few things since my last post

This little girl is amazing and cannot believe she is mine. She is such a sweet thing and sometimes i forget she is only 3 1/2.

I could just eat this child up. Another from our little spur of the moment shoot we did.

Emma wanted to join in on the fun, does she not look thrilled. Oh goodness these girls crack me up.

Chloe was dying to have her picture taken with Lydia. She absolutely adores her little sister. Of course Lydia has this look like please save me!

Love these smiles. I could look at this all day. I love this little girl!

This is one of many family pics we took at thankgiving at Jan and Troys. It is not the one we are using for our card but it another one that did not turn out too bad.

Lydia wearing her first pair of blue jeans. I tied a white grosgrain ribbon around her waist for a cute little belt.

Here are my two little cow girls. These cowboy hats had belonged to my dad and mom had given them to me a few years back and while going through things I found them. I have no idea how he wore them because they are so small but the girls got a kick out of them.

5 Years

It has been five wonderful years married to my sweet husband Chris on Friday the 16th. So much has happened in our lives during these five years. We got married, got pregnant, bought a new car, bought a new house, got pregnant again, got pregnant a third time, and bought another new house. Whew! It has been such a ride and look forward to many more years. Chris got me a beautiful necklace for our anniversary and I of course did not get him anything and felt so bad but I have been so sick and still not feeling great but better than i have for sure. We went to our usual anniversary place, Regas. I just love that restaurant. We took our annual picture as you can see. It is not a very good one but we had to keep up the tradition. We have took one for the last five years just like this one. I also had another bonus for my weekend. I finally got the washer and dryer I have been wanting for the last two years. Lowes was having a sale and we took the leap and did it. So other than my family being sick we have had a very good weekend. Hope all of you did too.

Catching up

Here are some pictures I have took over the last few days and the last one of Lydia i took today. I have not posted in a while so wanted to post some to catch up a little. This picture of Lydia i took the other day while waiting on Mammy to come get us. She looked so cute in her little hat the ladies at the nursing home made for her. At the hospital they always hand out homemade hats to all newborns which were made form the local nursing homes.
Emma can look so serious at times and it is so hard to get her to smile for the camera, although she is better about smiling for it than she used to be.

The girls were playing dress up the other day and having such a good time doing so. I always love to see what kind of outfits they come up with. That hat on Chloe is a hoot.

This is how Chloe wanted to eat her lunch a few days ago and she thought she was the cats meow. She is the cutest little thing but such a little devil. She likes to aggrivate Emma just because she knows she can. What a stinker.

My baby girl is 9 weeks old and getting so big, At her two month appt the other day she weighed in at 11lbs and 22 inches long. She is still eating 4oz every three to four hours and still not sleeping through the night. We also found that she has an ear infection and i did not even know she was sick other than her being a little conjested. So now she is taking an antibiotic twice a day. She has slept all day today so I know she is not feeling very well.

Halloween

Had topost about my little goblins. We had a great Halloween and the girls had so much fun trick or treating.Emma was Sleeping Beauty, Chloe was a cutie pie witch, and my little Lydia was a baby ghost. Mammy and Pop Pop came over and trick or treated with us. This year we stayed in our neighborhood and their were so many trick or treaters we ran out of candy. After about five houses the girls were tired and we went home where Emma had a ball helping hand out candy to everyone. She loved seeing all the different costumes. Hope everyone else had a good Halloween.

Tiny smiles

I caught Lydia giveing some sweet smiles today and so wanted to catch some on camera and unfortunately the first two are a little blurry. the last one came out o. She has been smiling for a couple of weeks now but not as much and everytime i talk to her she just lights up. I am loving it. I cannot believe how big she is getting and i want her to stay a tiny little thing. On to another subject... I have been thinking about Christmas and trying to come up with things to get for the girls and have a few ideas but they have a lot of toys and we have actually donated a lot of them too. If anyone has ideas for an almost four year old girl, a two year old girl, and a newborn let me know. We are not getting Lydia much since she is so little so do not need a lot of ideas for her.

Decorating

Ok so i attempted at decorating and here our some of the things I have done. The first is the front door . I missed out on getting a nice fall wreath because I waited too long. I cannot find a pretty one anywhere anymore. The second pic is of my giant spider web with my big hairy spider Chris is just crazy about. The next few pics are of Emma's and Chloe's room. I know the valance does not really go with the border in the room and we are going to either take down the border and keep the valance or I will move the valance to the play room where the same fabric is used for the window seat cusions. The art on the walls is done by me and I know they are not great but they are cheaper than buying professional paintings they will outgrow in a few years. The twinkle twinkle little star plaque is actually store bought. Then the last pic is of me and the girls at the pumpkin patch. I hardly ever get my picture taken with them so thought i would go ahead and post it on here even though I hate pics of myself.
