This past weekend was so great! Heather and her kids came in for awhile and we met up with Amie and her kids. On Saturday we went up to the outlets in Pigeon Forge and had a blast shopping. It was just nice to all be together and have some fun. Got some pics of the kids but not one of them all together. I do not know how I did that. I usually always get some of all of them but not one this time. We got to take them all to the pool and they had so much fun playing together in the water. Hopefully I will get to see Heather again before she has to leave. Today was so hot and I did not want to get out at all but I had to go by the bank and went by target and get Emma a disposable camera. Ever since she saw her cousin Olivia with one she was begging for one. So all day today she went around taking pictures of the floor and feet and other misc things. There is no telling what kind of pictures she got. we still have pictures left and I have been trying to show her how to do it but she still insist on doing it her way. I cannot wait to see those pictures.

Emma and Chloe's new toy
Well here it is! This is Emma's and Chloe's new climber. Emma was so excited about it she could hardly stand it and had to go play on it as soon as we got it together. It really is such a cool thing. it has notches in the sides where they can climb up and a space in the bottom to climb under. It will be a little while before Chloe can play on it but it will be soon enough. I have been taking the girls to the pool and they love it and I get a little sun myself. I feel like a ghost. I am going to try and find a paint color to try in the living room, We have to get busy on this house and so going to experiment with a little paint. I hope I find the right color!

Kitty love
Emma absolutely adores Pam. She just wants to love on her all the time and poor Pam just cringes whenever Emma is around, but she lays there and takes it. Chloe was so tired in this pic and it was all she could do to stay awake. This weekend started not so good. My poor Emma got a stomach bug Friday night and and I was up with her all night changing sheets and trying to keep her hydrated. I hated my baby was sick and all weekend she did not hardly eat or drink anything. Today we packed a picnic and went over to John Sevier pool. It was so hot and Emma played for a little while till more kids showed up and she did not seem to want to get in anymore. I held Chloe standing in the water and she loved it and splashed around. I think we ended up leaving after about 45 minutes. I told Emma if she was just going to stand around then we would leave, and so we did. After we got home we just chilled out. They took a nap, I got to relax and eat my last frosted brownie which was yummy!

Play-Doh Fun!
When Emma got home from school, the first thing she wanted to do was play with play-doh. That is a first. Usually she wants to watch a movie or read but today was a play-doh day. I saw on the news it was going to be another very hot one today so Chloe and I stayed indoors all day except for going to get Emma. I needed to anyway. I have gotten so behind with laundry and cleaning the house. So that is what I did today. I had seen this recipe on tv for tomato pie and thought hmmm that sounds pretty good. I made it and it was so yummy. All it is a refridgerated pie crust, dijon mustard to spread on bottom of crust, mozzeralla cheese, sliced red or yellow tomatoes, and any kind of spices you want to use. I used pepper, vegetable supreme spice, basil, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Bake for 35 minutes on 350 then eat. It was so good, but I love tomatoes and cheese so it was perfect for me. Chris seemed to like it too but Emma's words were I don't yike this mommy! Hey I like to try something new every now and then. I get tired of fixing the same ole same ole. I also found a favorite salad I love to make now. It is baby spinach, sliced strawberries, walnuts, and walnut raspberry vinigerette dressing. So so so yummy! I know now I am blogging about food, but if you have never had these and like what is in them you ought to give them a try.

Crazy Hot!
No pictures today, but thought I would go ahead and post. It has been so hot today all I want to do is jump in a very cold pool of water. I should have took the girls to the pool near mom's house but I was actually afraid it was too hot. I took them to story time at the library today and then back home. The tree guy showed up today to get rid of our two dead trees in the yard. I am so glad. That is our first steo to getting this house in shape to sell. I had to go get diapers because we were out and should have gotten them this morning but crazy me did not think about it so out in the 100 degree heat we went or at least it felt like it. I hated getting back out but I had to and so by the time we got back I had the worst splitting headache you could ever imagine. I just stayed hot all day and did not at all feel like cooking so we went out to Ihop. Tomorrow I have an eye appt. I wish I had canceled and may do it yet. Going to try and get some scrapbooking done tonight. I feel like I have not done anything in ages. I just feel so uncreative right now. I will just blame it on the heat. I am so behind though. I know I am not the only one and that makes me feel some what better.

2 kids + Aquarium + nonstop = Exhaustion!
These are the two fuzzy critters we came home with today. I decided to take the kids to the aquarium all by myself this morning. Emma had been begging to go back and see the fishies. The drive was not bad at all being a Monday and we got there early enough it was not super crowded. They had a ball and it wasn ot as hard as I thought it would be all alone. The girls were very good and did not complain. Emma decided she had to have Nemo as we were leaving and so I got Chloe a little one. On the ride home both fell right to sleep. Before heading home stopped off at Ho bby Lobby to get a couple of things and stop off at the scrapbook store. By the time I got myself and the girls settled at home I was absolutely exhausted. Lets just say I was so glad when I got the girls into bed and I could relax. I got a picture of Emma chewing on Superman. He came in a kids meal and instead of playing with it she just chews on him. It is only eight pm and I feel like I could go to bed right now. I still have an aweful cold so that is probably why. Well I hope everyone had a happy Monday!

Love, love these socks
Ok so minus the lovely dog hair on them. I swear I will vacumn one day and the very next morning or even late that same day there is dog hair all over again. I give up! Back to the socks, these are the softest most comfy sock I have ever had. I have three colors in them and wear them to lounge in all the time. I am just not a barefoot kind of girl I like my feet warm. I even sleep in them. Today I went and got me some more flowers to go in the house. I have really tried to keep live plants alive in our house because I love them and they seem to brighten up the place. I got some really pretty ones and they were only like 1.96 so I got five of them. My zebra plant was 6.00 but that is ok because it is so unique looking. I should have took a picture. I ran into Josh Jone's parents and his beautiful daughter today. Isabelle is absolutely gorgeous! Stunning blue eyes and dark skin and hair. She looks a lot like Josh too. His parents said he got remarried and is very happy. I have not seen him in years. It was good to see them and chat a bit. I am so getting a cold and I feel horrible! I just really hate that icky feeling you get in the back of your throat and an aweful headache. Hopefully I will not feel as bad tomorrow. I think I am actually going to try and get in bed early so I can get a little extra rest since I feel so bad. Early for me is like 10 oclock. Anyway happy Thursday!

11 Months
As of the 11th of July my baby turned 11 months old. She is getting so big and learning so much. i cannot believe how time has just flown by. These pica were actually took today because i had got confused on the date. hey better a little late than never. Emma and chloe went to story time with their mammy and pop pop today and then went on a picnic and fed the ducks. Emma loves feeding the ducks! When I can get a telephoto lens I want to follow them without the kids knowing and take pictures of them, but I have to wait till i can get me a good telephoto lens. I have great lens's but they do not fit my Rebel and it totally makes me insane. I guess I could just use the Nikon for things like that since I have to wait on a new lens. Today was a total unevenful day for me except for going out for a few groceries and taking these pictures of my sweet sweet girl. Tomorrow Emma goes to school and I am either going to clean house or take Chloe and go do something. I am not sure what. I have a great buisness idea that I ran by Chris and he thinks we ought to go for it. I got so giddy with delight I could not stand myself. This would be my baby and it would bethings I absolutely love. With the love I have for shopping, color, and design, it would be perfect for me. (And no it is not opening a scrapbook store or anything really having to do with scrapbooking.) I have to do something I am going stir crazy being home all the time anymore . I guess if we had a bigger house with more room and things i love i would not mind so much being home all the time. Do not get me wrong I love being home with my children and i think it is important for the first few years of their lives. I need socialization! I am trying more to find things the kids and I can go do but not so much to do in good ole Blount county, and not sure what is out in Knoxville except for the Zoo but it has been so hot and so crowded I do not really want to go alone plus Chris would be devastated I went again without him.

The park the park
Going up to the little park above mamaw was a hit on Sunday. Emma loves this park because it has several slides and different things to do. We just decided to walk up to it and it was a pretty nice walk. Got some cute pics of the girls and mamaw. While down at mamaws Emma had a peach and must have been yummy good because she got it all over her. Friday night the girls spent the night with their mammy and pop pop. I got to sleep in on saturday (Yay)! That was wonderful! picked them up at noon andf came home to being lazy and in the afternoon Emma and I left and had a girls day out together. That may not have been a good idea because Emma was awefully cranky all day due to getting up at like 4:30 am and not having a good nap all day. So in the future I will no not to take cranky, sleepy child out in public. It was not too bad but all in all she probably should have stayed home. As for the weekend it was pretty uneventful! I cannot wait till Chris is finished with this project. In the future he is not allowed to take on a project that takes away from his family!

Crazy fun
These are pics from last night. We were all in the floor just being silly and having fun. The girls loved having Chris and I both down playing in the floor with them. Today I went over to Babies R Us to check out the car seats they have because it is coming soon to get Chloe a big girl car seat. They are so expensive and Chris and I came up with a better idea. Take Emma's older carseat from Chris's car and use it for Chloe and get another less expensive booster seat for Chris's car. I would rather spend 60.00 then 200.00. This afternoon about 4:30 I took the girls to their Mammy and Pop pops. They were going to spend the night and so Chris and I had a quick dinner at Ruby Tuesdays then went and saw Nacho Libre. I have to say if you like stupid slapstick movies then that is the one for you. We saw it because the Pirates of the Carribean was sold out. I hope everyone has a great weekend !

My little miss cupcakes
Here are my little miss cupcakes! We went over to mom's to spend part of the day with her and cought a few picks of the girls before they got totally filthy. We did not do too much actually on the 4th, but had a cook out the day before at mamaw's house along with Amie, John, Olivia, David, and mamaw. We had a lot of fun! Mr Don even came over for a little bit. Emma was going to spend the night with mamaw and the others but ended wanting to come home at 11pm that night. So Amie carted her home. What a sweety she is. Today the girls went with thier Mammy and Pop pop. They took them to story time at the library and took them to lunch. They had a great time and of course Emma did not want to leave as usual. I just had some relaxing time while they were gone and it was majorly needed. Well I hope everyone is having a good week.

4th of July weekend
I have to say this weekend has not been what I would liked it to be but it was ok. We spent out time at home having some pool time and just hanging out. Chris worked the whole time and the kids and I did what we could to have some fun. While Chloe was napping the other day Emma got some alone pool time and had a blast. She loves getting in the pool and playing. Last night we sliced a watermelon and got to enjoy its sweet goodness. It was the first time Chloe has had watermelon and she loved it. Emma seemed to enjoy it herself. I just let her go at it and she thought it was the best thing.Saturday night we had dinner with Amie, John and the kids. It was nice spending time with them and afterwards we went and had some icecream at our new Marble Slab Creamery. It was so good! Well I hope everyone has had a great weekend and hope everyone will have a great 4th.
